Lotus-Maeve's Leukemia Battle

Hi, I have set this go fund me up to help my lovely friend Eilidh who unfortunately is going through the worst thing a parent could go though. Heartbreakingly her 2 year old daughter Lotus-Maeve was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on the 15th February, confirmed via bone marrow test on the 17th February.

A.L.L is a rare type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. It requires intensive Chemotherapy as an inpatient in the children's hospital for the first month followed by more trips to hospital for the next 2 and a half years for more chemotherapy.

Lotus is such a brave little girl showing such courage in her fight against this horrible disease. She has already endured Blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, lumbar puncture, steroids and different types of chemo drugs and IV fluids.

With her daughter's diagnosis and treatment plan this means Eilidh cannot attend her place of work to support her family. It would mean the world if we could relieve the financial aspect of her worries while she is going through this difficult time. What we don't see is the unexpected fees of hospital TV, travel costs, meals, drinks, snacks in the hospital (steroids make her crave a variety of food and drinks and who can say no to her beautiful face) nevermind the usual bills too.

Lotus has family who miss her and who spend many hours and costs travelling to come visit her. Lotus is lucky to have two siblings who will be missing their sister as well as Eilidh having to be apart too. Cancer has changed all of their lives so quickly, it will be such a hard journey for all involved in Lotus-Maeve's life.
