Loudly, Clearly, Beautifully by Elena Glass
Donation protected
I am thrilled to announce that my one-woman show, Loudly, Clearly, Beautifully, will be performed at The Hive Collaborative in St. Paul Minnesota in January 2025.
Loudly, Clearly, Beautifully will be directed by Allison Vincent, with music direction by Wesley Frye, and performed and written by Elena Glass, with original music by Leslie Vincent & Emily Dussault.
This is a vulnerable, hopeful show that incorporates personal stories, movement, and song to take views through what I learned through coming of age while my father battled Multiple Sclerosis.
In order to make this show the best it can be, I am raising funds for the following:
*Paying the artists collaborating on this experience with me (director, collaborators, musicians)
*Space rental and expenses
*Equipment costs
*Programs and miscellaneous marketing expenses
Even if you can only give $10, I would be forever grateful. Any additional funds raised will be donated to the MS Society.
Loudly, Clearly, Beautifully examines the fragile and powerful bond between fathers and daughters, chronicles how life halts and morphs with chronic illness, and meditates on coming of age and into power after tragedy and grief.
Using storytelling, comedy, and music, Elena Glass takes us through her father Gene’s Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis when she was 14, her coming of age during his decline, and her post-pandemic rebirth after tragedy.
A profound story about growing up in the shadow of grief, this production will leave audiences inspired by Gene's challenge to always to sing 'loudly, clearly & beautifully,' no matter what life throws your way
