Louie Clark’s road to recover fundraising

Support Louie Clark's Road to Recovery:

On Monday, February 24th, 2025, we were all devastated to learn that Louie Clark, a talented and passionate young footballer, suffered a stroke at just 7 years old. Louie is an energetic, cheeky, and outgoing child with a love for football that is truly unmatched. Having had the privilege of coaching Louie since he was just five, I can confidently say that his enthusiasm for the game and his joyful spirit are like nothing I’ve seen in such a young kid.

Sadly, Louie's stroke required urgent surgery to remove three blood clots from his brain. While he is now on the road to recovery, the journey ahead will be long and challenging. Louie will need months of intensive physiotherapy and ongoing treatment to regain his strength and return to the activities he loves, especially football.

As a community, we are rallying together to support Louie and his family—his mum and dad, Ben, and Lindsey—during this difficult time. To help ease the financial burden of his recovery, Liam Charles and Andy Brown are taking on the challenge of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on April 26th. We will be walking in Louie’s honor and raising as much money as possible to assist with his recovery and to ensure his family has everything they need in the coming months.

We humbly ask for your support. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in Louie’s recovery. We also invite anyone who would like to join us for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks walk to come along and show their support in person. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers for Louie are greatly appreciated as we all hope for a full recovery and the chance to see him back on the football field, doing what he loves most.
