In loving memory of Louie (Lou-Jack) Basquez
Donation protected
Friends and family, we reach out to you today to ask for support for our father Louie, some of you may know him as Lou-Jack. He is one of the hardest-working men I know and so very important to our family. He is our protector, a businessman the bread winner, caregiver and my mom's whole life. He has dedicated his life to his family and to his business.
Right now, our family is in need of some support. Louie is currently admitted in the MICU for the last several days and we are unsure how long he will be there. It can take weeks even months till he is stable enough to come home but for now we take it day by day. He went into the ER on Monday 4/1 with cold like symptoms, and some belly pain. His symptoms changed quickly which led him into the MICU (medical intensive care unit). Louie is dealing with a critical illness and infection which put him into septic shock he is on a ventilator, several medications, and has had numerous procedures done. He is still not out of the woods and is highly sedated. We get updated throughout the day some updates are better than others. As some of you may or may not know the MICU is where the hospital holds the sickest patients. He is "very sick" is what the Doctors say but we know he has the best medical care team taking care of him we have faith God will heal him as he is the best physician.
Our family is asking for prayers and any financial support to help with the bills along with these hospital bills that will soon start accumulating. If you can please send good vibes prayers any words of encouragement, we need all we can get. If you can find it in your hearts to donate, we greatly appreciate you. We want for when our dad comes home there isn't worry hanging over his head, to feel rushed to get back to work. Our mother feels lost and scared of the unknown. We as a family are doing what we can to support each other and we thank you all in advance for the love, support, prayers and donations.
