Help Louis get a new wheelchair

Louis Fitzko is an intelligent, charming, and vibrant 1st grader with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2. Louie needs a specially customized wheelchair that meets the needs of a child with SMA.

The wheelchairs covered by insurance aren't tailored specifically for an SMA patient's individual needs. Furthermore, their insurance only covers a wheelchair once every five years. Bailey Built Wheelchairs is the manufacturer that can build a custom wheelchair for Louie’s needs.

Unfortunately, the $13,000 cost is outside their family's affordable budget. We are looking for donors to help them purchase a new wheelchair for Louie, and we want your help to get Louie his new wheels. Not everyone is in a position to donate monetarily; however, if you can't, could you help spread the word?

Primarily donations will be accepted through the GoFundMe linked below. However, Gwendolyn Strong Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity that will help receive any contributions for Louie's wheelchair.
