Louis Munoz Funeral Expenses

Please join us in supporting Louis Muniz Jr’s family in these tough times. Louis spent the past year in the hospital and at home fighting cancer and was undergoing treatment at MD Anderson in Houston before losing his brave fight with the disease.

If you knew Louis, you know that he was not one to ask for help but always went out of his way to help others. There was not a job too big, or one Louis could not handle. He kept the Chemical Engineering Department at Jack E. Brown Building (JEB) running for many years. Louis was the kind of person whose very presence had a positive impact on the lives of everyone around him. It is our hope to show up big for his family in their time of grief and sorrow, just like Louis did for us all these years.

Louis’ friends and co-workers in the Chemical Engineering Department have started this GoFundMe to help his family manage his funeral expenses, as well as help provide for his family’s future. While nothing can make up for their loss, we hope to alleviate the financial burden while they heal.
