Hello my name is Kate, I am fundraising for a family friend of over 15 years.

On Monday March 11th 2024 Lou unexpectedly passed away in his home with his family at 52 years old.

Lou was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He spent most of his time with his wife of 30 years Julie, his sons Jake & Sean, and granddaughter Leiia.

He was an extremely hard working man who took care of his family and so many others. If you knew Lou you would know if you were ever in a hard place, that his door was always open. Whether that be a place to stay, a shoulder to cry on, someone to yell with, or what he was best at, making everyone laugh.

He had an unbeatable one of a kind personality. He never cared who was around or where he was, he was just always himself. I can’t count the amount of times he let his granddaughter paint his nails, do his make up or hair and he would go right out in public. He would do anything to see her or anyone smile.

Also you can’t mention Lou without mentioning the 49ers. He was the definition of a die hard fan. From posters, to blankets, to the amount of clothes and figures he had, you would think he was on the team himself.

With the loss of such a beautiful man there is so much of an emotional burden that I just want to help as much as I can on the financial side. This go fund me is to help with the funeral costs as well as allowing the family to have time to grieve.
