Louise and the Lactic Ladder - Ludlow 10K

Anyone who knows me will be aware that I haven’t got a sporting or exercise bone in my body.  But over the last three years, I have started running, going to the gym and cycling. A great friend of mine challenged me to try and do the Ludlow 10k on 9th July – and I am!

It will be a struggle, not least because of a section known locally as the Lactic Ladder!

However I am absolutely determined to do it – driven in no small part by the fact that I would like to raise money for a charity close to my (and Rupert’s) heart.

The Alzheimer’s Society supports people affected by dementia, improving care for people suffering from it today and funding research focusing on finding a cure for tomorrow.

Rupert and I have witnessed the effects of dementia over the last eight years, with his father and mother both suffering and dying from it. Now it is striking again close to home.

Any encouragement you could give me (to get up that Lactic Ladder) and them by donating would be greatly appreciated – thank you so much.
