About Us

Louisiana Assault is a new AAU 5th grade boys basketball organization established in 2022. LA Assault was created by brothers Terrance and Jamal Henry, teachers and coaches in Monroe, LA. Louisiana Assault will be led by Terrance Henry, a former All-SEC standout at Ole Miss and professional basketball player. Terrance has over seven years of playing experience in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Cyprus.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to be a memorable part of our athletes journey by providing a healthy and safe environment where confidence in their athletic abilities can soar. We are committed to instilling Discipline, Integrity, Teamwork, Honesty, Sportsmanship, Leadership, Trust and Commitment in our young athletes. We believe these values and virtues are essential to their growth and becoming active members of our community and society. We do not emphasize basketball as the number one priority over other areas of our young athletes’ lives. Our commitment is to assist in the personal growth of our players into young men.

Our Why

We are raising money because we could use some assistance with expenses, including team travel, lodging, meals and equipment needed to succeed on our journey. We have a tournament schedule that will take us across the southern part of the United States. With us being a new organization, a large part of the funds raised will invest in many other fundraisers to help build for the future. Our end goal is to grow the LA Assault organization to range from 5th grade to 12th grade. Many college recruiters have been geared towards AAU scouting. We would love to provide our athletes the exposure to hopefully obtain a scholarship to continue their careers beyond high school.

The saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child." We are asking you to be a part of that village. Our expectations are significant for ourselves and our young athletes. Coaching is teaching, and we have mastered that art. We want our athletes to master life, and we instill the values of learning life through basketball. We want to thank each donor for accepting our invitation to assist our young men with their journey and goals.
