We have decided to use this Gofundme platform to share our mom’s current journey and fight.

Our mom, Lourdes was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in July 2019. The cancer spread to her liver shortly afterward. In September 2019 she started her chemo treatment and has been very strong, fighting through all of the discomfort which is part of the harsh reality of cancer treatments (meant to completely eradicate cancers) will often bring upon patients. The doctors at City of Hope stopped her chemo treatment this month; the reasoning was because the damage it was doing to her body was far worse than the potential of healing that it was providing her.

We decided to try out a doctor who takes a holistic approach in Ensenada, Mexico. 
Dr. Hino specializes in treating cancer and other life threatening diseases. He has a life long deep passion for treating cancer patients to a full recovery using regenerative principals and allowing the body to enhance its redox potential allowing for healing to take place with the body as a whole. Other focuses of her treatment will include stem cells, strategic natural remedies and encouraging her cellular antioxidant defenses.

As you can imagine the treatment so far has been very expensive and the newest treatment will not be covered by her insurance so it will be completely out of pocket. We have been doing everything in our power to try to support our mom during these trying times.

The money will be used for expenses directly related to treatments, travel to and from appointments, additional lodging or any other roadblocks we come across for the next several weeks or months. Hemos decidido usar esta plataforma Gofundme para compartir el viaje y la lucha actual de nuestra madre.

Nuestra madre, Lourdes, fue diagnosticada con cáncer de colon en etapa 4 en julio de 2019. El cáncer se propagó a su hígado poco después. En septiembre de 2019, comenzó su tratamiento de quimioterapia y ha sido muy fuerte, luchando contra todas las molestias que son parte de la dura realidad de los tratamientos contra el cáncer (destinados a erradicar por completo los cánceres) a menudo afectarán a los pacientes. Los médicos de City of Hope detuvieron su tratamiento de quimioterapia este mes; El razonamiento era porque el daño que le estaba haciendo a su cuerpo era mucho peor que el potencial de curación que le estaba causando.
