Lou's 1st ever triathlon!!!

In 4 weeks time I will be taking part in my first ever triathlon!
So....how did I get here?! Well, when I turned 40 I wrote a list of things I wanted to do, one of which was a sprint triathlon. Almost 6yrs later and I am about to tick that one off the list! I signed up in November for the Nantwich sprint triathlon thinking I would have plenty of time to train, however, an injury early on this year stopped me from running. But now I'm healed and ready to focus on compleating my goal on 11th May.
I'm a keen cyclist and I used to run but I'm not a fan of swimming one bit! To reach my goal I'm going to have to dig deep and give it a go and what better way to challenge myself than doing it for Nick Deane's MNDA fundraiser. Nick started fndraising after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and has raised over £72,000 so far towards his £100,000 goal for the charity. It is vital that the charity recieves funding to help researchers find treatments and cures for MND.
So I am asking people to get behind me in my challenge and help me raise much needed funds to support people living with MND now and in the future. Thank you Xx
