Love and Care for Tuppence's Dental Needs

Hi, it’s Jess! For Valentines Day, I gave my mom a 5 year old rescue cat, a calico, she’s named Tuppence. She’s completely in love!

We went for her new patient check up today, and she’s perfect, sans one thing: she has really awful teeth. Dr. Patterson showed me her gums and teeth, and they are broken, inflamed, and painful. Just by looking, he needs to remove at least 5 teeth.

If you know my mom, you know she’s had a hard go of it the last two years - with the loss of my dad, financials, and working on her immigration. My hope was that this cat could symbolize a fresh start for her, being her first animal as a single person. And now it’s going to cost money we don’t really have, which was not in my head when I adopted Tuppence.
