Love and Hope for Kris Hohmeier and Family

Kristoffer Hohmeier age 45, is the kind of man who would help anyone with his time, skills and insight. He has gone through some very difficult times both physically and financially over the past 20 years. During that time, he has managed not only to keep his family together, wife Renee and three children but has managed to pull himself up to become a strong and a good provider over the past four years. Just as soon as he was becoming more confident in his strength, on Tuesday, July 28, he sustained traumatic brain injury, four broken ribs, collapsed lung,  broken jaw bone, and a broken nose from a motor vehicle accident in which he was a passenger. He is currently on a ventilator in the ICU at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois. His bones will heal and we are hopeful his lungs will also, without permanent damage. However, the prognosis for his brain injury is very uncertain at this time and will require a significant time to rehabilitate him back to the man he was fighting so hard to become. All proceeds will go to help with recovery expenses and out of work finances to aid his wife and 2 sons. The biggest concern for Kris right now is the uncertainty of his recovery.
