Love and Support for Jamie’s Family

Donation protected
Trying to summarize and to capture Jamie’s Life in a GoFundMe caption isn’t possible nor should it be. Jamie’s impact on many lives simply cannot be summed up in words. Hopefully as you read this your own memories of Jamie will help fill in the gaps.

Jamie Randle was a positive force to those who knew him...a force that couldn’t be reckoned with especially on the ice. A lifelong hockey player who somehow always found the strength to be gentle. Jamie always made people laugh, and he looked after those around him with a genuine caring and common sense.

Jamie, the hard-working man that he was would never have asked for your help, but if you're able to contribute towards his final expenses and to the life that he would have given his child, please do so.

After struggling for several years with  multiple health issues, Jamie collapsed and went to sleep around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2020.

On Monday, July 6th the family was informed that Jamie was not expected to survive that evening due to declining organ functions. That evening Jamie’s body was fading and through a whole lotta prayer and support of  the Royal Alex Hospital he started fighting back and his body was fully functioning by the next morning. Despite the battle...Jamie’s brain did not participate in that battle. On Tuesday, July 7, 2020 the medical team declared him deceased.

At the time of his passing he provided the ultimate gift to others as an organ donor. Always giving and caring for others, even in death. On Thursday, July 9, 2020 we saw Jamie for one last time before he left to give the ultimate gift to many others who could live a long fruitful life.

We would like to begin by thanking this community for all of the support we’ve seen over the last week. Thank you for your past donations, messages, prayers, well-wishes, good vibes, calls, and text messages. Through Jamie, we all individually found friendship in so many unexpected places.

If you are able to donate anything at all, it is appreciated more than we can begin to express. We realize that the current pandemic, has cost many jobs and many people are facing financial uncertainty. If you aren’t in a position to donate, We would really appreciate passing the link for this along, and help us in reaching others. So many have done so much to help. We are continually amazed at the generosity of the  community, and we look forward to a time one day when we are in a position to return that generosity somehow.

Thank you so much for everything.

(This memorial fund was organized by myself Valerie Clarke and Jamie’s sister Renee Randle.
All funds will be withdrawn directly by Jamie’s mother Wanda or Tristan to contribute towards expenses that will be incurred and for the support and  continued care of Jamie-Lee)
