“Jennifer has decided to stop cancer treatment and begin in-home hospice care. It was a difficult decision, but the pain, discomfort, and lack of progress led to this choice.
Obviously, this was not what she hoped for when she began her treatment many months ago, but she hopes that this will allow her to find comfort and peace during this next stage, which will be spent with her immediate family.
She wants everyone to know that she appreciates all of the well wishes, prayers, and memories that have been shared; she misses you and loves you all dearly.
She also wants people to know that she feels badly that she hasn’t been able to respond to text messages, CaringBridge posts, and letters or take visitors due to the discomfort and exhaustion she has been feeling. Please know that she has received your messages and she feels all of your love and support.
On behalf of her family, I ask that you continue to pray for Jennifer and her family. Please ask God to bring them comfort, strength, and peace during this next stage…Thank you”
