Love and support for Jill Adair and family

Hi my name is Krista Powell, a close family friend of Derrick and Jill Adair. Both Jill and Derrick have asked that I share their story in hope for prayers and support.

Those that are close to both the Adair and Shope families are aware Jill has been battling colon cancer for the past several years now. Jill is the most strongest and courageous woman I have ever met. She has been fighting this disease with everything she has the entire way through and has not given up on her faith. Along side of her fighting this battle is her loving and dedicated husband Derrick and the lights of her life, Tobin (6) and Allie (5).

It is with a heavy heart I write that the time has come where our Lord Savior is calling Jill home. Jill wants to go home, she is ready to go home and be at peace.

In the days ahead expenses will need to be met and Derreck is going to need all the support he can get as he navigates through life as a single father. There will be medical and care expenses for the girls that Derrick will need help with along with so much more.
