Love & Support for Melanie and her Family

Donation protected
On Tuesday, November 12th,  2019 - 3 days after his 26th birthday, Reece Vallee lost his battle with addiction, depression, and mental health. Reece had just graduated in May from Washington State University, one of his proudest accomplishments, and was looking forward to a bright future and eventually starting a family of his own. Reece was a brilliant, creative, fun-loving spirit who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted mother Melanie, father Michael, trusted sister Aspen, and his sweet girlfriend Meagan. We are lifting them up and sending love and support during this difficult time.

Reece was Melanie’s inspiration for becoming a therapist which led to her establishing Eastside Counseling Center here in Kirkland, WA to help those who struggle with depression and addiction. She has helped hundreds of individuals and families heal from the devastating effects of trauma and depression. She had hopes and prayers that her son would experience the same kind of miracles that she sees every day in her counseling center. Her heart is broken because he was unable to get the help he needed before it was too late.

In gratitude and service for all she has done to help others, we would like to support her by covering the upcoming expenses for his service and the time needed off of work to grieve during this very tragic loss.
