Love and Support for My Sister Amy

Hello everyone my name is Lisa and I’m raising money and support for my younger sister Amy. She discovered signs of a vaginal mass in December of 2022 and went to the OB-GYN from there she was referred to an OB-GYN Oncologist on January 31st of this year and the doctor performed a biopsy and told her he was 100% certain it was cancer and has probably been developing over the last 3 to 4 years. On February 2nd, she received the results and it showed positive for vulvar/vaginal cancer. She now has to get a MRI and PET scan to stage the cancer and to see if it has spread anywhere else. As of right now she will have to have radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks and chemotherapy once a week for 6 weeks at the same time. The closest hospital to perform treatment is an hour away. This cancer is considered rare and it is not operable. This is the plan at this time. After the 2 tests are complete we will know more details as to if this will stay the course of treatment or if it will change. I will update as soon as we know more and as she goes through this unfortunate journey.
 As most people know our father is a Vietnam Veteran and was exposed to Agent Orange and my sisters and I are having a huge amount of medical problems from his exposure. We are the first generation and this can pass through very many generations of our family. I hope and pray that you can help out with anything you can from $5.00 to whatever you can help her and her family out with will be deeply appreciated. It will go towards helping with gas, medical bills not covered and helping her family while she’s going through this devastating journey.
