Love and support for Pat Ford

Hi, my name is Halle and im fundraising for my dad, Pat Ford. My dad is the funniest and most thoughtful person I know, I also have to mention how he is the best storyteller ever. He is always trying his best to make everyones day and he is my best friend.

In January my dad was diagnosed with severe heart failure and was told that only 15% of his heart is working. Since then he has been taking 3 medicines daily to stabilize his heart and and is required to wear a defibrillator vest 24/7 to prevent any life threatening cardiac events.

Due to the condition of my dads heart, he is not able to continue working and as you all probably know my dad took great pride in bartending. Since he has not been able to work, he has been struggling to pay rent and other important bills. He has applied for disability but the earliest he can get help is not for months from now, and social services hasnt been any luck, along with his unemployment ending. It has been a struggle getting enough money together for rent on time so he will not get evicted.

My family has been going through a very tough spot, the saying when it rains it pours is very true as we came to realize. My aunt, Dawn Ford, was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at almost the same time my dad was diagnosed with heart failure. It has been a hard couple of months for all of us but we are trying to stay positive and stick together as we always have.
