Love for Billy Cleverly and his family

Hi my name is Brandi and I would like very much to introduce you to a wonderful family. My friend is Billy Cleverly who has been battling Astrocytoma stage 4. Billy was a firefighter for many years in this valley. He loved what he did. It was his life. He was a single dad to two wonderful girls until he met Alyssa. He fell in love and she became his world. They have a blended family together. She has worked at confluence health for the last nine years, during her time with Billy and his cancer. For the most part of this last year or more, Billy has been in and out of the hospital. Alyssa has been the sole caretaker of all of their five children, the household, and to Billy. Billy is now on hospice to which they make too much money together to qualify for help. He’s too young to get a caregiver at night to be able to care for him while Alyssa goes to work. Billy wanted so badly to see his niece in the play Clue, but due to his decline, he is unable to attend. He can’t move or walk. He is very angry at everything. Alyssa has to use a lift to get him out of bed. She is now having to take unpaid leave to stay at home with Billy, to make him comfortable and love him, and take care of all of his needs. She is dedicated to him and their family. But this is very difficult for anyone in this position.
