Love for Damen and Aleece Geisler ♥️

Story

This sweet family is facing tremendous challenges and we are hoping to help relieve some on the financial side. Damen is my husband’s little brother, and one of my very favorite humans. Since the age of 19 he has been battling several auto-immune issues, one of which claimed his liver. At the age of 20, he received a liver transplant due to the generosity of a selfless family who was facing their own tragedy. We are ever so grateful. In the years that followed, Damen met and married Aleece, and they were blessed with a sweet baby girl. A few months after she was born, Damen was diagnosed once again with end stage liver failure and placed back on the transplant list. Once again, the miracle of a liver transplant was afforded to him and his life was spared and extended. Damen’s adult life has been filled with multiple health issues and hospitalizations but he and Aleece have tried to stay positive and work tirelessly to get past each setback and build their lives and their family. They are now a family of 5 with the youngest child, a son age 14 months. Presently they are facing the biggest challenge of their lives with more health problems. Damen is once again hospitalized fighting for his life, this time at the Cleveland Clinic, and not able to work to provide for his young family. His biggest fear isn’t death, but in leaving his wife with a mountain of hospital bills and his children without a father. They do have good health insurance thank goodness but there are so many other expenses not covered. Because of his health issues he is difficult to get life insurance for.
