Love for John Kirby
JOHN KIRBY is a man who needs no introduction, but today we felt compelled to introduce this campaign on his behalf.
John is a premier acting coach based in LA who first helped us with our film Beyond the Mask and has worked with so many wonderful actors over the years.
On June 9th, John was hit by a vehicle in a grocery store parking lot. The elderly driver panicked and proceeded to run him over with the front and back tires. John incurred multiple bone fractures & suffered many medical complications while being hospitalized for the past five weeks.
It has been a painfully slow process for John, but he is finally and miraculously being released; Lord willing he will walk again with continued physical therapy and prayer. John was getting ready to coach on film in Columbia the same week of his accident, but everything was immediately put on hold, including his prominent acting school.
Although he is medically insured, there have been extra expenses medically & internally, and hopefully he will be back at work soon doing what he loves best!
John has always given above and beyond what was required to everyone he meets without expecting anything in return. He is truly our “George Bailey.” When we visited John at the hospital earlier this month, he was reluctant to let us set up this campaign...but we insisted on taking this opportunity to show our love and support for him. John is respected in Hollywood as “The Actors Guardian Angel,” but now we want to be his ‘Clarence’-“The Angel” and take this opportunity to show John how much he is loved.
It is our turn to give back to him, and allow John to receive back all the good that he has sown into us.
