Meet Lenny — Our Brave Little Fighter

Lenny is just 23 months old — a bright-eyed, giggly, curious little girl who, until recently, was a healthy, joy-filled toddler chasing bubbles, climbing on everything, and filling our days with laughter.

On April 8th, 2025, our world shifted. Lenny was diagnosed with a 3.5-inch tumor encasing her left kidney. In the blink of an eye, our playful days turned into hospital stays, scans, and consultations with an incredible pediatric oncology team. 

Her treatment plan is intensive: weeks of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor, followed by surgery to remove her left kidney, and then more chemotherapy to make sure we’ve done everything we can to give her a full recovery.

This is a road no parent is ever prepared to walk — but we walk it with Lenny, who has already shown more strength and bravery than we could ever imagine. She is facing this journey head-on, and we are holding onto the hope that we’ll soon see her spark ✨ return in full as this treatment begins to work.

While Lenny’s future will look a little different living with one kidney, we’re staying positive. Her spirit is fierce, and she has a whole team behind her — from doctors and nurses to friends and family — cheering her on every step of the way.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help with the overwhelming out-of-pocket expenses that come with pediatric cancer treatment — including chemotherapy, surgery, travel, time off work, and all the little things that add up fast.
