Love for Lukey

Hi Everyone, my name is Jenn Cameron and I'm starting this page on behalf of Luke MacDonald. Sweet Lukey is having a rough go in the health department. He has been in and out of the QEH looking for answers and he got the news he has meningitis.

A brain scan was done which determined he has a cyst on his brain and he was immediately flown to the IWK. He had a second brain scan and was sent into surgery Friday evening to drain the cyst. It was larger than expected. He has an infection going up through his nose into an open bone in his skull that is very rare which requires another extensive surgery to prevent further infection to his brain, which will happen once he's recovered from his first surgery. He's being monitored for seizures but he's a fighter and he's kicking ass on his road to recovery.

His family has travelled to Halifax with him and will be there to support him on his road to recovery for the foreseeable future. He's a fighter and is in the best hands, with all the wonderful nurses and doctors. If you can help in anyway, please donate and send all the prayers, positive thoughts and vibes for Luke's road to recovery. Donations will be used for travel, accommodations, meals, diapers and anything that Lukey needs during these hard times. We hope that soon, Luke will be back to his goofy, chatty, playful self and live his best little life with no more worries.
