Love for the Porterfield Family
Donation protected
On July 16th, we lost Kelly Porterfield in a tragic accident. He wasn’t just the best son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle to his clan, he was the best to anyone who entered his life. He made you feel truly seen and with that came unconditional acceptance, love, and a helping hand to become exactly who you were meant to be. It’s been said that he never met a stranger, and that’s the truth. He would look you straight in the eyes with a familiar smile and a warm handshake or even more often, a big bear hug. They say your legacy is shown by the impact you had on the people around you and his was positively infinite.
His love for life and everything it had to offer was huge but in no way compared to the love he had for his wife of almost 30 years, Melissa, and the family they created together, Bailey, Kevin, Nora, Remington, Porter, Tanner, Sawyer, and Clark. While he lived with no fear, the fear of living without Kelly, his guidance, and his presence is an overwhelming feeling at this time. As two of Kelly’s “Honorary Porterfield kids” we are asking you to extend a helping hand to his family in their time of need, the way he did to you in yours.
