Love for the Richards family
December 10, 2020 my friend Jamie and her husband Tom Richards got the confirmed pathology results of stage 4b Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for their 13 year old daughter Emilee. This is news that no parent ever wants to hear. They have been in the hospital awaiting results and going through multiple tests over the last week to determine the reason for her recent anemia, shortness of breath, fatigue and unexplained weight loss. Because of this Jamie has had to take FMLA without pay to be able to be there for Emilee in the hospital. As we all know bills still have to be paid and we all know what is around the corner in 2 weeks. Like any mother or father they want to be able to have some sort of a Christmas for their family. On top of that they are needing to pull all of the carpet out of their upstairs and renovate the girls bathroom before Emilee comes home. This is so her home is ready for her discharge to prevent any infection or illness for Emilee. I ask that if you find it in your heart to donate to this sweet family they would be so very appreciative! I am blessed to call Jamie one of my very best friends in this world and I know she will not ask for help so I am asking you all on her behalf. This is the least I can do since I am so far away.
