Love is U N I V E R S A L

Hello, I'm Marcus with Mastermind Visuals. I'm raising funds to feed the homeless & show genuine love to the less fortunate for Valentine's Day 2024.

My first real memory of Valentine's day is when my late father would bring me & my older sister gifts to our school every year. As a young boy, this outward expression of love and affection from my father (who maybe struggled with showing masculine affection towards his son) really spoke volumes to me. It was a token of my father's love & something I still cherish till this day.

Usually, when we visualize valentine's day, we plan to shower our significant other with materialistic & meaningful gifts. These gifts are created to reassure our love by way of outward expression.

Valentine's day is the universal day for love & it's been on my heart to do something different and meaningful this year. An act of kindness that will allow us to bless others by coming together. i.e. Love is U N I V E R S A L.

Tupelo, MS homeless scene is growing at an alarming rate & where most people see a homeless person, I see a son, daughter, mother, father... etc that may have fell on hard times and never recovered. My heart goes out to anyone affected by homelessness. This year on valentine's day, we are doing something about it!

My goal is to have 100 home cooked meals present at this event.

Menu: Smothered creamy chicken wings over white rice | Rasta Pasta with grilled chicken breast w/ homemade alfredo.

(My mother & I will be preparing all the food with love & we purchased food microwave safe containers from amazon.)

Extras: We will be purchasing Roses & handing them out to men and women (1 per person) | We will also grab some small stuffed animals and create cards that resemble heart shaped candy and write encouraging statements on them to give out to everyone. I would like to go to dollar tree and get some personal hygiene products to give out as well.

I prayed about doing something unique for valentine's day & this idea was downloaded to me in a dream by the true living God. I feel like it's my duty to make sure it comes to life with the help of those who will donate. Truthfully, I didn't want to create a GoFundME. I was going to do whatever it took to make this happen. However, it's like God will send you a messenger even when you think you have it all figured out. That messenger told me that I should create a GoFundME and gives others an opportunity to be apart of something great, so I done just that.
