I’m thrilled to share with you that I have just started my professional career in London as a 1st-year apprentice at Ballet Black, a dream job I could never have imagined was possible a few years ago!

I couldn’t have got here without you - but I still desperately need your help. While the prestigious 1-year apprenticeship with Ballet Black is a dream come true, it involves surviving in London, one of the world’s most expensive cities, on a small stipend that will not cover all of my living expenses. My family’s circumstances have not changed - my mother is a widow who makes a nominal salary as a domestic worker in India - and the funds I need in London (to cover rent, food, transport and dance supplies) are beyond my reach. Much of what I have been able to achieve so far has only been possible because of this fundraiser.
