Love, light, and justice for Leah Boss

Leah Boss, Upstate Reggae Woodstock NYs keeper of the reggae flame, needs our help. We are raising $7,500 for her. Read the WHY below.
The day after Thanksgiving while working at Bearsville Theater Leah shattered her ankle after falling down the side stage steps. She has had one surgery- plates and pins- and will require further surgery. At 70, healing is a long process.
Leah is finally, after months, able to get around a bit with a cane- but not without pain. Bearsville Theater subsequently closed it's doors. She has received no further compensation since the fall from the theater.
Prior to this, a venue withheld the Ticketmaster money due to Leah for a large event she hosted, over $7000. This isn't just money to pay bills etc, this is Leah's seed money to hire bands, secure lodging etc. Having no "seed money" has devastated her ability to promote Upstate Reggae, bring in bands, and to earn a living.
The combination of these two events have left our dear friend with no income, and little way to bring the bands we love to Woodstock and beyond. With 38 years experience, Leah has the knowhow to operate Upstate Reggae, and will be able to get back to business once we raise these funds for our friend, neighbor, promoter!
Reward for those who donate $75 or more: Two tickets to your choice of an upcoming Upstate Reggae show - anywhere between Poughkeepsie and Woodstock! (good for 2 years).
Please share, and donate. Thank you, and Bless up!
