Love Like Kyle – A memorial fund honoring his kindness
Donation protected
It’s with deep sorrow that our family shares the loss of our beloved Kyle on March 1, 2025. The grief we feel is impossible to put into words, and the emptiness he leaves behind is profound.
In honor of the incredible 26 years Kyle spent with us, we’ve created this memorial fund to reflect the love and compassion he gave so freely—especially to animals. Donations will support his Celebration of Life and benefit two places that meant so much to him: BrightSide Animal Center and East Bend Animal Hospital.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has reached out asking how to help. While we never planned to start a GoFundMe, after several kind requests, we felt this would be a meaningful way for Kyle’s spirit to live on. Your love, messages, and support mean the world to us.
A portion of the funds raised will go to East Bend Animal Hospital, where it will help pet owners facing emergency veterinary situations receive timely care without the added burden of financial stress. This kind of support can make all the difference in keeping beloved pets healthy and at home with their families.
The other portion will go to BrightSide Animal Center, where a memorial fund will be established in Kyle’s name. Kyle and Emmah adopted their sweet Juni from BrightSide, and it holds a special place in their hearts. Kyle believed deeply in second chances and compassion, and helping individuals, couples, and families adopt a furry friend to love is a beautiful reflection of his values.
Through this memorial fund, Kyle’s legacy of kindness and care will live on—not only in our memories, but in the continued critical care and rehoming of animals who deserve love, just like the ones he gave so much love to.
We invite you to join us in honoring Kyle’s life:

In true Kyle spirit, we kindly ask that you skip the black and the formalwear—anyone who knew him knows that wasn’t his thing. Wear something that reminds you of him or reflects your connection with him. Casual, personal, and heartfelt is exactly what he would’ve wanted.
We hope to see you there.
