God has a plan. I believe this to be true. I can remember someone telling me when you ask God for something he has one of three answers, “yes, no, and not yet”

Over the past year, we’ve heard “not yet” through loss and tears we’ve continued to have HOPE.

We are hopeful that this year of invasive medical procedures will lead us to a “YES.”

Now, we’d like to ask for your help as we try to build our family.

As I sit and write this, I think of how challenging it is to actually ask for help and doing this. How vulnerable it makes me feel. Yet, how empowered it makes me feel to allow you to help us if you choose to. Isn’t that what life is all about? Doing the best you can, asking for help, and then paying it forward to someone else in need.

In many ways, it’s a very lonely journey. These past few months we’ve stayed very quiet about what we’re going through.

Looking back I wish I would have tested for fertility sooner (and I would encourage anyone thinking of having children to START TODAY); however, that wasn’t the path my life was on at the time. Needless to say, the doctors told us that we would never have children on our own. We were devastated. We pulled the initial funds together but, have a long way to go.

We’d love to share the details of what we’ve been through with you and tell you it all worked out successfully - it just hasn’t happened, NOT YET.
