Love Of Lacey

Ok so where do we start??? On the 14th August 2018 we were taking a short family camping break of Laceys choice, when our world suddenly fell apart. Lacey complained of feeling unwell as most children do, but then collapsed in my arms. However after an hour and a half and the tremendous efforts of neighbouring campers and the emergency services, our little butterfly sadly passed away. Still to this day we have not been given an answer into how she passed. More tests are being taken but at the moment it looks like Lacey had a weak heart.
Lacey was a seven year old energetic, fun, kind and caring little girl with a heart full of gold. Her vibrant smile and cheeky giggle lit up every room she entered and she would make friends with any children she met. She was the perfect daughter to us and a great sister to her older brother.
We know that we will never get over this but in time hopefully day by day it will become easier. It is important for us to remember Lacey as the person she was and if you abbreviate Love of Lacey.... LOL that pretty much sums up her everyday always laughing out loud. We have had a phenomenal amount of love and support from our friends and family but we realise this isnt always the case with other families. This is why we are setting up a fundraising page, with the hope of one day becoming a charity. The main purpose and aim is to provide families who find themselves in similar sudden tragedies with professional support. Another aim is also to obtain a really nice static home or log cabin in a quiet area for families affected to take some time away. In the following days to our little butterflys passing we sometimes felt trapped and like we needed space. All we are trying to do now is to keep the memory of Lacey going by helping others as she did herself. As a family we have always been there for everyone else and want to carry on helping others in Laceys name. We would also like to say that any help and contributions are not for personal gain as we are a hard working family, and every penny will be put towards helping other families who find themselves in our situation, with the hope of one day becoming a charity.
Much love to you all
