Love Offering for Brett Norfleet and family
Donation protected
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for your prayers, words of encouragement and concern for the Norfleet family. We believe that God is our ultimate Provider – His Word even tells us so: "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?" (Matthew 6:26). We also believe that God uses His people to meet the needs of His children. That has been more than obvious when the news of what the Norfleet family has been silently going through was made public yesterday. In light of the request from family and friends, the following account has been set up. Please, do not feel obligated to donate. Give if you choose to do so and know that every penny will be greatly appreciated.
For those who don’t know Brett was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in May. They were in Dallas the past few days at Baylor Scott And White MS Clinic. Although not great news it wasn’t the worst either. They are putting Brett on a higher dosage of medicine for the MS and a new medication for nerve pain. In addition to the medicine, Brett will continue with physical therapy twice a week for 8 weeks. He will be re-evaluated to see if his MS is progressing or regressing. Brett’s doctor said he has significant swelling in his brain and spine and that it could take up to a year for the swelling to go down. In the meantime, driving is out of the question. Please continue to pray for him and pray that this course of treatment will work.
Back in January 2019 after Jennifer gave birth to their miracle baby boy, she quit her job to be a stay-at-home wife and mommy. Little did they know at the time that her quitting her job would make it possible to take care of all the family needs that have come up since May. She is currently doing her best to manage Carline’s Circle W Café 5 days a week (with little Jake in tow) and with the gracious help of family. The wages Jennifer is earning helps to provide some of the day-to-day living expenses but does not cover them all. Nor does it cover the unexpected medical expenses.
More important than any financial gift, Brett and Jennifer covet your prayers for his healing.
They are also grateful for your continued support the Café.
Be blessed…all day…every day
