Love offering for Denise Burbage

As many of you know, my sister Denise has been In The hospital 23 of the last 24 days. Denise is suffering with clogged stomach and Ulcer, not to mention side effect from MS (or it the culprit?)

Denise has endured multiple tests since September and has had 2 endoscopy exams while in hospital. Each time, the doctors found her stomach full, even though she had a NG tube in for the majority of her 23 days.

Last Thursday, 12/15, Denise underwent a surgical procedure to remove a part of her stomach/small intestine where the blockage was at. Doctors also wanted to remove the ulcer that was located in stomach.

Denise was in surgery from 10am and entered recovery a few minutes after 7pm. The surgery sounds as if all went well, Denise still has a hill to climb, but each step is progress to greatness.

Nurses gave her a contrast fluid yesterday and then x-ray to confirm no leaking in her stomach. As long as that went okay, Denise will be moved to clear liquids and Nurses are saying hopefully she will be home by Christmas Day.
