LOVE ON THE COOK FAMILY!

Hi, my name is Shelley Hannon, and Dan and I are asking for your financial support of our friends Steve and Maegan Cook (Henry and Miles, too!) during a difficult time. We know all to well how cancer can ravage your life, but we also know how the support of family and friends will carry you through. This is their story:

In mid-January, Maegan found a breast lump that was confirmed by her OB Gyn on January 30. On February 6, five days after Maegan's 38th birthday, an ultrasound confirmed the presence of that abnormal lump. Biopsy was performed on 2/19 and on 2/20 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. On February 27th, she met with the breast surgeon and was given the details of her stage 2, triple negative breast cancer. Her port was placed on 3/6, and on Friday, March 15 she will start the journey of chemotherapy and future surgery. First and foremost, please say a prayer for Maegan, Steve and their medical team. I'd next like to ask that anyone who is able, please consider contributing financially to Steve and Maegan. These awesome humans are both self-employed, and this path will certainly mean that Maegan will be out of work for the better part of this year. Additionally, Steve will be managing not only his wife's care, but that of Henry and Miles. This will make it difficult for him to work as a writer, artist and touring musician.

Dan and I were the beneficiaries of a GoFundMe account (years ago now), and it sustained us during the WORST time of our lives. We are asking that you do the same for our friends Steve and Maegan.
