As most of you know, Liz and her family have been hit pretty hard in the last 3 months. Liz was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been going through treatments while continuing to show up and be an amazing AP at her campus. This week, all hell broke loose when sweet Charlotte was taken by ambulance to the ER after Aaron brought her to Urgent Care for breathing issues and vomiting. After so many tests, intubation, more tests, an EEG, and an MRI, she finally tested positive for rhinovirus. She’s still not quite out of the woods, but IS doing better! However, in the middle of all of that, Milly and Liz both tested positive for Covid. All of this amounts to insane medical bills. To make matters worse, Liz’s insurance deductibles start over on September 1st, meaning she has to meet her deductible and max out-of-pocket amount TWICE. That’s upwards of $30,000! Y’all. This is more than anyone should have to bear alone, much less those with what seems like endless hospital visits. Let’s rally around the Guzman family and show them our love in the most practical way possible.
