Love & Support for Gail in Memory of Ralph Custer
Donation protected
Gail Custer unexpectedly lost her husband, Ralph Custer, late in the evening on May 20, 2021. Many of you know Gail and Ralph, or you know their children - Jennifer (daughter of Gail) and Ralph Jr. (son of Ralph Sr.).
Our mom, Gail, has worked hard over the years to make ends meet and to keep things going at home while Ralph struggled with his health. Even with hard work, the unexpected loss of Ralph has left Gail with funeral expenses that are beyond her means and an uncertain future.
We want to give Ralph the memorial that he wished for, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Ralph's funeral. We need to raise $6,100 by May 31, 2021 in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
Any amount will help Gail, whether it is $5 or $500. Please consider supporting her and this family in a time of great loss.
Ralph E. Custer, Sr., 64 of Jackson Center, passed away on May 20, 2021 at his home. Ralph was born in Hendersonville on March 18, 1957. He worked as a blocklayer for many years until his health could no longer allow.
He married his beloved wife, Gail (Weiher) Custer on September 1, 1990, she survives at home.
Ralph enjoyed the outdoors and going turkey hunting when his health would permit. He enjoyed helping with home projects and was always given a large “honey-do” list from his wife. Most of all he loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his son, Ralph Custer, Jr. of New York, step-daughter Jennifer Ungvarsky and husband Christopher of Raccoon Twp, Beaver County, grandchildren Zachary, Samantha, Adam, Nicholas, and Emma, as well as numerous siblings.
Ralph was preceded in death by a step-son, Nicholas Erlach.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 2 pm – 4 pm on Monday, May 24.
