Love, Support & Healing mission for Katrina Cook !

We are creating this fundraising campaign to support our energetic, audacious friend and colleague on her path to recovery. 

On Saturday, January 16th, while walking her dog Puff, Katrina suffered a medical emergency that caused her to lose consciousness. Her sweet companion, Puff was her angel that day. She is the one that  got the attention of strangers to help her mom. After arriving at St. Vincent, Indianpolis, many tests were performed and burr holes were made in her skull to relieve pressure in her brain. The brain bleed has left our brilliant friend with paralysis on the left side. The medical team also discovered that Kat's breast cancer from 15 years ago is back. She is awaiting a biopsy to understand how many locations it has metastasized to and how aggressive it is. Monday, February 4th she was moved to Community North Rehab center. She is working hard in therapy but, will have a long road to recovery. Through this fundraiser we are hoping to ease the financial burden of rehab, transportation needs and cancer treatments.
