Help Celebrate Love With No Borders

Best said by Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in the movie The Proposal: "[They] were just two people who weren't supposed to fall in love... but [they] did."

Megan (31) and Ryan (32) met as teenagers through voice acting projects online, and while it's not unusual to meet online these days, nurturing a long-distance international relationship so young can be complicated, to say the least.

The pair has worked to maintain their relationship through many more downs than ups: homelessness, cancer, reproductive health scares, medical & extensive dental costs, deaths of many loved ones, separations due to COVID-19 border closures, difficult immigration processes, and years-long job hunts leading to poverty for both individuals.

And yet, through it all, they have put first everyone around them before themselves, and never once complained of the hardships they were facing just because they fell in love with someone from another country.

The duo are stronger together, and after more than a decade apart, they were finally able to move in together in 2023.

It's hard not to feel like the last decade has been wasted on bridging the international separation in their relationship, though, and this pair deserves to have a modest wedding to celebrate the hurdles that they have overcome to be together (and prepare for the hurdles they've yet to conquer; particularly with regard to immigration, medical, and biological constraints dictating when they would be able to have any children -- and trust me, these two would make great parents).

However, another misfortune upon them is the lack of financing for such an occasion due to unemployment struggles (and certainly not for lack of interviews or applications). It's just unfortunate that their relatives are unable to cover the expenses to make this event a reality.

Please help these two lovely people fund their happily-ever-after before they are no longer able to start a family of their own.
