Love for Lili

Kaliyah is typically a vibrant 14 year old girl who loves to hang out with her siblings and friends, play basketball, go swimming, go shopping, and get her nails done.
On the evening of Mother's Day she was in a serious car accident that has completely changed her life and that of her family.
Her and her best friend were in the back seat of a car that crashed into a concrete barrier. Kaliyah suffered from a broken neck (c2), broken femur, fractured hip and other medical issues. She has to wear a halo device to support her broken neck for at least the next three months, but we are grateful for the journey of rehab and recovery over the alternative.
The amazing response and care from the rescue team and Trauma department have helped her tremendously but she has a long road to rehab and recovery. She will be released from the hospital soon to an inpatient rehabilitation center for the next step but we are unsure how long she will be there.
Kaliyah's mother has been out of work since Mother's Day to be by her daughter's bedside and is unsure when she'll be able to return to work as the rehabilitation center requires a parent to be with her at all times. In addition to lost wages her parents need to move into a one story house as Kaliyah cannot use the steps at their current townhouse rental. They are also in need of an appropriate sized, dependable vehicle so that they can transport Kaliyah to the many doctor appointments she will have in the upcoming months. The family car broke down recently with multiple repairs needed but will not transport Kaliyah effectively with her halo and walking devices.
As Kaliyah's Godmother I want to help my goddaughter and her family raise money to assist them with things desperately needed during this difficult and challenging time. I've been assisting with getting meals for the family, transporting family members to and from the hospital, and providing any relief I can. I would appreciate anything you would be willing and able to donate, even if it's only a few dollars. If you are unable to donate in a monetary I would appreciate a prayer for continued strength, grace, and patience for Kaliyah and her family. Thank you for your time.
