Help with Bromley's Neurology Costs
Donation protected
This is the light of my life, Bromley - my 7 year old Boston Terrier. He is many people's favorite, most adorable, loving, unselfish and supportive, snorty, farty frog dog. Bromley has been there for me through so much, and he's only halfway through his life.
Last October, he started having violent seizures. After many inconclusive tests and many more seizures, our regular vet Dr. Kellogg suggested a specialist. So we went to VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists to see Dr. Prouty, a veterinary Neurologist. It was a hard decision partially due to cost, but on October 21st I authorized the clinic to do an MRI to take a look at his brain. The test revealed a lesion on Bromley's brain. We didn't know if it was something that would go away or something that would get worse.
Four months later and many many seizures later, we think the lesion hasn't gone away. The seizures are now coming very often and having lasting affects. The recommended next step is a follow up MRI so the right theraputic plan for Bromley's health can be realized. Until then the treatment is a guessing game and the ups and downs are very hard on Bromley.
The cost of the 2nd MRI and all the steps along the way have accumulated a lot of very expensive bills that I'm not sure how I will pay. Your contribution, anything, would help cover these bills and possibly even help Bromley's recovery if we find out the lesion is treatable.
Please consider helping cover the costs for Bromley's neurology expenses. It's really hard for me to ask for help. Like, really really hard. But I'm in over my head for my best friend. I'm heartbroken to think our days together could be coming to an end this soon. If you are willing to help, we would appreciate it more than you can ever know.
Much love,
Bromley and Cynthia
