Love Fed New Haven shares knowledge with our neighbors about our historical connection to food while teaching them how to grow their own food within their current living spaces. We are raising money to equip people with supplies to grow their own food and teach them how to prepare these foods with wellness in mind. We will also be using the money to bring hosts of artists, educators and experts from all disciplines to our community sharing their art and knowledge related to people of color in the United States, our connections to food and land historically, presently and in the future. Ultimately, we aspire to acquire land in New Haven dedicated to agricultural and educational use to positively transform the cultural, physical and economic health of our at-risk populations and neighborhoods.
