Love Light courage- Elenor's cancer fight.

Elenor is my dear beautiful friend; and this fundraiser is for her and her family.

Have you ever met someone that is both beautiful on the inside as well on the outside?

Elenor is one of these amazing human beings; a beautiful soul; a big heart, a loving nature, respect for everyone, compassion, generosity, courage,  amazing spirit, her gift to share laughs with people; in particular at herself. She makes people feel at ease as she loves to chitchat and take an interest in people in every walk of life.  El has always been there for anyone in need as she goes above and beyond to help. 

I know this well as I have experienced it first-hand… it is the reason she is my best friend. My name is Annika and I am setting this fund up for her and her family.

Sadly, my gorgeous Elenor is facing tough times ahead as she recently was diagnosed with breast cancer. 

Wonderfully, Elenor, and her partner Simon, is carrying a very longed-after sibling for their son Charlie which is a blessing and a light to look forward to at this challenging time. However, their little precious baby needs to be delivered prematurely due to the immediacy of the cancer treatment; making their journey even more challenging.

In a very near timeframe she will undergo surgery, chemotherapy and potentially radiation over the next couple of months, in addition to a newborn to look after - a moment in their life which is bittersweet. More tests along the way will required and we can only wait for each step and take one day at the time to see what treatment is needed.

Now we all know El and for those who don’t – she is a determined lady who will ‘knock the socks off’ this cancer stuff.  Watch her go!!!

Little bit of a background; Elenor, Simon & three-year-old Charlie moved down to Albury/Wodonga last year from Sydney for a fresh start and absolutely love life down on the border and over 18 months have met some absolutely amazing people and it now feels like their home town as people have open their hearts to them. 

They also have wonderful support of friends across the world which will keep them strong and determined.

Many people have asked how they can help them along this challenging journey and this is our chance to make their life just a bit easier during the cancer treatment. 

The aim of this fund for this lovely family of three, soon to be four, is to reduce the burden of costs regarding therapies, travel, accommodation while getting treatment at different location, medicine, herbs, alternative treatments and time off work at times in particular for Simon so he can look after their family in this time of need. Basically, costs that will occur while getting treatment.

We don’t know how Elenor is going to respond the treatments but I know she will need our support in any shape or form.

If you can help out with a donation; even if it seems to be little; I know that it will make a big difference to them. They would never ask for help so I am doing this for them humble as they are.

I know you all care for Elenor, so surround her with love and strength so she can focus on beating this thing; stress free; while becoming a mum once more.
