Love's Labor's Lost CHI
Donation protected
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th UPDATE:
Wow. We are feeling surprised and very grateful for the donors that helped us reach our initial goal of $1,000 in less than 24 hours! We will be putting that towards the cost of our venue ($1,300) for our 4 performance dates: October 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th.
We're raising our goal to $2,000 to cover additional costs of rehearsal supplies, design elements and creating a nest egg for our future theatrical endeavors.
We're so excited to watch this project grow all thanks to your help. Y'all are amazing!

Four bachelors.
Four single ladies.
One problem: the bachelors swore off women (and eating and sleeping) for the next three years.
It’s the set-up for a perfect rom-com. Almost.
In this flirty, funky, fast-moving production, 12 of Chicago’s freshest actors traverse the knotted garden of clever words, coming-of-age lessons, and comically ill-advised disguises in Shakespeare’s wittiest comedy. Made for those who have never seen a Shakespeare play, and for those who could quote the entire canon extemporaneously – this is Love’s Labor’s Lost: Chicago-style.
We’re overjoyed to make this dream project happen – but we can’t do it without you. We’re asking for help to cover the cost of the venue, rehearsal space rentals, and production supplies (which include props, lighting, first aid kits, and more). Any additional funds raised will be put towards future community-focused, imaginative, and accessible theatrical events. From Shakespeare’s The King’s Men to our company, patronage has kept our globe turning. With your generosity, our labors will be far from lost.
