Support for Jimmy's Family

Six weeks was how long ago Tammy's family found out about Jimmy's lung cancer diagnosis.
From that point on, it went downhill very quickly.
He was hospitalized for a week but was in the ICU for the last four days and that's when we got the news no one wants to hear.. There wasn’t anything that could be done to save him because the cancer was spreading too quickly.
Nothing could have prepared any of us for this. His family's lives were turned completely upside down in a frenzy of doctor appointments and a rapidly spreading cancer that ultimately won from an initial diagnosis just six weeks prior. Because of the speed at which cancer had spread over the six weeks since the initial discovery, the family was left with no time to think about what would happen after their worst fears became a reality.
The family has lost the income they relied on for their everyday, basic needs, and Vanessa's college. Jimmy was self-employed most of his life, working hard in the restaurant business to provide for his family. Because of this, he did not have medical insurance, nor did he have a life insurance plan. While Tammy waits tables to help pay for Vanessa's college, without the income of Jimmy and the medical bills starting to accumulate, the family could use a little extra help.
Jimmy, 51, is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Tammy, who he has been with since he was 16 years old, daughters Alyssa and Vanessa, and grandsons AJ, Brycen, and Leo.
The family is at peace knowing they got to say everything they needed to say to each other. The amount of love Jimmy got from family and friends in his final days was so overwhelmingly powerful. He is no longer in pain and now he is at peace.
If you can find it in your hearts, any amount truly makes a difference.
Please join us in giving Tammy, Vanessa, Alyssa, and the rest of their family the opportunity to grieve while not having to worry about how they will pay his hospital bills, their mortgage or purchase their basic necessities over the next few months.
