Lovey aka Sage is one of the seven we took in from the the seizure in Spring Texas earlier this year. We lovingly refer to them as the Magnificent 7.

Because of the extreme toxic environment, Lovey is still dealing with the consequences of that environment. We have no idea how long she was there so it could still be months before she is free of sinus and fungal infection.

Lovey is still under medical care for infections and fungus. She is a beautiful, very sweet and loving African Grey. She has an amazing spirit and doing really well with the care she is receiving from her foster parents. We are very grateful to her foster parents love and care of her. Her journey to wellness is not over yet, her current medical are at $1670,00. She , Gabby & Zoey aka Rosella will be under veterinary care for an unknown time.

If they could tell us what they have seen and what they have endured throughout their lives we could tell their life story. They were seized from a horrible place so their story begins anew with us.
When I picked up the parrots, even for me it was shocking to see the condition of some of the birds. Immediately I knew they needed a protector and I promised all of them in that moment that I would do everything humanly possible to give these beautiful, intelligent birds a good life from this day forward. All the parrots need full blood work and disease testing. Some have beak, plucking and malnutrition issues.
Getting these birds healthy again is going to take good nutrition, time and many visits to the doctor. We are asking if you could help by making a donation towards their medical bills. Please remember every dollar counts!
