A few weeks ago my family received the devastating news that my beautiful mom has Breast Cancer. Without much time to process, we all wiped our tears and jumped into gear as she needed surgery right away! Surgery went well and we are pulling together to continue the journey of what I imagine to be our most difficult year.
Starting in December, my incredible mom will begin 4 rounds of chemo, followed by another 12 weeks of chemo and then 6 weeks of radiation. As if the emotional and physical difficulties weren't enough, the financial strain greatly adds to the stress and anxiety of this chapter in our lives.
Many people have asked how they can help and support my mom and my family during this time. Any amount (no matter how small) will be greatly cherished and appreciated by my family, helping to pay for surgery, chemo, radiation, medication and the many expenses that come with a journey as tough (and expensive) as this.
My mom is always so busy taking care of everyone else! Please help me in coming together to take care of her!!!
