Loving Care For Diane Reeder

Hello, beautiful community! My name is Mor, and I am organizing this fundraiser to help raise funds for Diane Reeder as she faces a highly challenging time.

If you know Diane, you know she is an angel gifted to the Hudson Valley, and right now, she could use our help. She was recently

released from a hospital stay with congestive heart failure and needs recuperative rest to focus on her

healing. However, she has needed to work daily at her excellent Kingston Candy Bar to ensure it stays

open and staffed. These funds mean she won’t have to worry about getting to doctor’s appointments and

that she will be able to rest. In addition, these funds mean not worrying about the lights being turned off.

She is currently paying for all the copays/meds/etc. that she now needs, and these funds will alleviate some of this burden.

Diane has shared her love, kindness and food with so many in this community; her

heart is our heart. Her tireless compassion and work toward food security and equality are put into practice daily; due to her diligent efforts, NYS farm markets accept EBT. She has taught so many of us about helping our community by feeding our neighbors.

It is time to hold her and her family up the way she has held us all up. In these times when there seems to be little we can do, your donation of any amount would help so much.
