Loving father senselessly murdered

Kendrick Donte Riley was a 25yr old loving father of two, on the early morning of may 9th 2020  while going to get something out his car, Kendrick was senselessly gunned down for absolutely no reason on the streets of Oakland California. Kendrick’s world revolved around his two children his son Jayceon Riley is 5yrs old, Jayceon was very close to his dad and he always wanted to be around him. The father and son bond they had would melt anyone’s heart, now he cry’s for his dad. I had to tell my son his daddy’s in Heaven helping god take care of grandpa. His daughter Susan’Lynn is 2yrs old she was daddy’s little girl, she cry’s everyday “I want my daddy “ Kendrick’s children meant the world to him, he spent everyday making sure his children was well taking care of their so young and don’t understand why their dad isn’t around anymore. Kendrick was the sole provider after I was laid off from round 1 due to covid-19. Kendrick worked as a in home care provider with IHSS from 2015 until 2019, he also worked for the command center from 2013 until his death. Not only was Kendrick a father, he was the son of a loving mother, he was a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin and a friend to many. Kendrick will be missed dearly he was the peacemaker, very quiet and shy. Kendrick would give a helping hand wherever it was needed. Kendrick was a role model for the youth taking them to reach community center and 24hr fitness both in San Leandro, for activities to keep them out of trouble. Kendrick graduated in June 2013 from San Lorenzo High School an wanted the youth to know they could also graduate and be positive in life. With a heavy heart I’m asking for much prayers, and any donations will be gratefully appreciated as I figure out life since I was forced into being a single mother. Me an Kendrick’s children are my main priority, the hurt and pain we’re feeling as a family is unexplainable. Thank you and God bless you all.
