Loving Isaac

Isaac Mitchell was a bubbly, smiley, loving child ~ grown into a beloved teenager.  At 17 years old, an honor roll rising senior in high school with a brilliant mind and promising future (he was an aspiring scientist), he was the favorite of so many friends and family.  Everybody knew and loved Isaac.

On Sunday, May 16, 2021 Isaac was killed in a senseless drive-by shooting.  There are no words for the grief and pain that the circle of family and friends who adore him are experiencing now.  Just wanting him back.

Life has changed for all of us who knew Isaac.  More than anyone, we are wrapping our arms around Erica and Isaiah, his mom and older brother, who somehow have to find a way to survive his loss.

This GoFundMe page is both a place to support Erica and Isaiah as they make preparations to lay Isaac to rest ~ and, also a tribute to Isaac: to his big Spirit, his huge heart, silly giggle, inquisitive mind, and strength of character.  

Help us to honor Isaac, by supporting his family... to provide them the room and the time to miss him, grieve him, care for themselves and each other. 

Donations will go directly to Erica and Isaiah as they prepare Isaac's memorial and hold up his name, in blessing, as he makes his Journey.
